November(ish) 2005

October 22 - November 25, 2005

The boy's have just been getting cuter and cuter.  It has just been such a long time since we've shared photos of the kids, we thought we would put some up.
This photo was taken during a "boys' day" that we had in October.  Mommy had to work, so the Shepard boys spent the day on an adventure.  Somehow I knew we would end up in Tiny Town.

This day might be a milestone in that it is really the first time I've let Connor pose in Tyler's lap without an adult or at least a larger child ready in case Big Brother decided to let go of the little one.

Both Tyler and Connor were cowboys for Halloween.  Here they are letting Mommy take their picture.
Tyler's class at School has a "pet" stuffed tarantula that each child gets to take home for a night or two (or weekend).  It is sort of hard to see, but "Theodore" is to the right of Tyler on the top of the couch.  Spider man also wanted to pose with the boys (he is sort of sitting on Tyler's shoulder).
The Denver Museum of Science and Nature has a children's room.  Here the boys are in a dinosaur nest.  Connor looks worried that the mama dinosaur might come back, but really, he was having a good time.
Mommy had to work on Saturday again, so we had another "boys' day" at the Denver aquarium.  This shark is right outside the aquarium
Here the boys are in the aquarium in front of one of the tanks.  Unfortunately, the boys are a little blurry in this picture.  I guess this is because of the moving fish in the background.  Sort of weird that the stationary subjects are blurry whereas the moving fish are clear (for the most part).  Anyway, it is still sort of a neat picture.
The day after Thanksgiving, we decided to go up to Idaho Springs for lunch at Tommy Knockers brew pub.  Here is Connor having a great time with one of the Tommy Knockers on the wall.
After Tommy Knockers, mommy fed Connor and Tyler and I went walking around by this icy water fall and water wheel.  Pretty cool.
Then, we headed up to Echo Lake, which is right by the Mt. Evans Highway.  We had a good time playing on the lake.  Here are Tyler and Connor in Tyler's sled.  It was fun to ride on the ice.
